  1. f(x) = (x-1)(x-2)/(x-1) is continuous everywhere (it is defined). So is g(x) = (x-1)(x-2)/(x-42). Any combination of continuous functions is continuous on its domain; why do we waste time making up things like "removable discontinuities"? t.co/we4BYiC0t3

      Related: I teach this IVP existence/uniqueness theorem. But I always word it as "continuous AND DEFINED" on the interval... since basically every example of "discontinuity" is really a denominator of zero.
