@stanyoshinobu I also use Dr/Prof with students for these kinds of reasons, starting with using Mr in my last year of grad school. When I did, I also started using Mr/Ms to address students to try and demonstrate reciprocal respect. 1/2Permalink On twitter.com

@stanyoshinobu However, some students are less comfortable being addressed so formally, and it requires me to make a choice based on the name or appearance, so in the era of Zoom teaching I've reverted to using the first name they choose to display.On twitter.com
