@matthematician @MasteryGrading I don't give very detailed feedback by default; many times the student is able to review materials or work with peers to make corrections and reattempt successfully. Then I have more bandwidth to focus on students who do need more direct feedback.

@matthematician @MasteryGrading Also providing unsolicited detailed feedback deprives the student of the opportunity to attempt to find and correct their own errors. Of course, all they have to do is ask if they're stuck.
