      1. I strongly believe that behavioral data such as attendance and timeliness of completing tasks such as homework have no place in computing students' final course grades. But... what if that data could be leveraged into a predictive model? 1/3

      Final grades could still be a function only of the learning outcomes a student has demonstrated understanding of at the semester's end. But attendance/HW could be used during the semester to predict those grades. 2/3

    Would providing students ongoing projections of their final grades, e.g. 10% chance A, 30% chance B, 40% chance C, etc., that takes behavioral data into account help incentivize them to do the "right" things, even when this data is ignored at the end of the semester? 3/3

      N.B. I'm sure these sorts of analytics exist in certain LMSs or course-specific applications, but I'm thinking mainly in the @MasteryGrading context where final grades are determined only on certain specifications that generally focus on learning rather than behavior. 1.333...
