@oscarlevin @SeanFitzMath @aacooper @matthematician Yeah, I think it's reasonable for the CLI to choose the "right" diagram output format based on the target format. E.g. build HTML Asymptote for an HTML format target, and build PDF Asymptote for a LaTeX/PDF format target.
