@CParrishUSA Yeah, I explicitly specify later in my syllabus that all teamwork takes place in the classroom and none of their grade directly relies on it (there are things they can do individually to replace), to help with buy-in from folks who have been burned by "group work" before.Permalink On twitter.com

@CParrishUSA So I guess maybe this is the pattern: they have things to do as a group (tRATs, in-class activities), and if they sufficiently engage then their individual reflection is easy ("I'm ready because I did what you asked"). But if they don't engage then I'll reject such a reflection.On twitter.com
