      I decided for the first semester in a while to pair it with a "traditional" two-hour final exam. There will even be *percentages*. (cue scary chord) Here's the sample I provided them.

        We shall see how it works out. It's my hope that students will use the Final Reflection to frame how I'm using their async/unproctored quiz data and this sync/proctored exam result to determine the letter grade I'm required to give them.

          I also hope this exam provides students an opportunity to see the forest formed from the trees, in a way I've felt might have been missed in previous semesters where I haven't asked for everything in one sitting.

            Note that there won't be any surprises on the real thing. Students' biggest gain from this exam will hopefully be in the preparation for it.
