      @virgil_pierce And by contributing to the public forum, their writing is contributing to its knowledge-base, and not just sitting in an LMS to bit rot.

        @virgil_pierce But yeah, the troll issue is certainly my biggest hesitation. I think I may be transparent with students that this is a new experiment, and they should let me know if they have such issues, and we can explore alternative mechanisms to practice writing.
