@siwelwerd @mathprofcarrie @MitchKeller If you have a project that needs to produce PDF output and also cares about accessiblity, I'm unaware of any reasonable approach to using LaTeX directly. (And nothing at accessibility2023.arxiv.org/ changed my mind here.) I think @PreTeXtBook is the best solution at the moment.
